Six smiling women in Laura Ingalls Wilder Museum shirts pose together inside a shop with vintage items on shelves.

The Laura Ingalls Wilder Park & Museum would like to extend a big thank-you to our hardworking 2025 summer tour staff: Bonnie, Carol, Zoey, Carrie, Madi, Lynn, and Valerie. Their enthusiasm, knowledge, and dedication helped make this summer fun and educational for every visitor, creating memorable experiences for families, school groups, and history enthusiasts alike.

As we transition into fall, please note that the museum will close on Labor Day. Starting in September, tours will be available Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with the last tour at 3:00 p.m. We look forward to welcoming guests back during these fall hours for more historical adventures in Burr Oak!
