The Little Miss Laura contest is a long-standing tradition at the Laura Ingalls Wilder Park & Museum, celebrating the life and legacy of Laura Ingalls Wilder in Burr Oak. Contestants are evaluated on their knowledge of Laura’s life, essay, costume, poise, and presentation skills.

As Little Miss Laura ambassadors, Tianna and Amirya will represent the museum throughout the year at parades, fundraisers, and community events, sharing Laura’s Burr Oak story with visitors of all ages.
