Support the Museum

The Laura Ingalls Wilder Park & Museum is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the Masters Hotel, where Laura and her family lived in Burr Oak, Iowa in 1876. The hotel, built in 1851, stands as a testament to pioneer life and the Ingalls family’s legacy.

Our museum board and staff are committed to maintaining this historic site for future generations, sharing Laura’s story and the joys and hardships of pioneer life. Through tours, gift shop sales, memberships, donations, and fundraisers, we continue to offer educational programs and preserve the museum’s buildings and collections.

We are grateful to our visitors and donors, whose support makes our mission possible. Explore the ways you can make a difference today.
