Laura Days 2023: Celebrating Tradition and Community

Posted: June 30, 2023

People gather under a pavilion at a community event, with children and adults enjoying food and conversation.

Thank you to everyone who supported Laura Days 2023 in Burr Oak! The park and museum were filled with visitors, familiar faces, and new friends throughout the weekend.

Entertainment included Lynn Urban and the GrassRun Bluegrass Band, along with special programming led by Rev. David Werges. The celebration also featured the beloved parade, pie auction, food vendors, crafters, and activities for all ages.

This event would not have been possible without the many volunteers, parade participants, sponsors, pie bakers, and community members who gave their time and talents. Your support helped make Laura Days 2023 a fun and meaningful weekend celebrating Laura Ingalls Wilder’s Burr Oak story.
