Celebrating Our 2022 Tour Guides
Posted: November 8, 2022

As the 2022 season wraps up, the Laura Ingalls Wilder Park & Museum wants to extend a special thank-you to our incredible tour guides and staff. Their dedication, warmth, and enthusiasm brought the history of Burr Oak and the story of Laura Ingalls Wilder to life for every visitor.
Our 2022 team included Bonnie Tieskoetter, Laurie Biedermann, Marion Walhus, Valerie Hershfield, and Skye Kelly, with additional thanks to Barb Olson, Sarah Kowitz, and Gwen Thompson, who supported tours behind the scenes. Together, they ensured that every tour, from the Masters Hotel to the Burr Oak Bank building, was engaging, informative, and memorable.
Thanks to their hard work, visitors left with smiles, stories, and a deeper appreciation for Laura’s time in Burr Oak. We look forward to welcoming both our guides and guests back in spring 2023 for another season of exploring local history.
