The Visitor's Center
The Burr Oak Savings Bank building was built in 1910. It was restored and opened as the Laura Ingalls Wilder Park & Museum Visitor’s Center in 2004, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Here is where your visit to Burr Oak and the Masters Hotel begins.
The Visitors’ Center houses the original bank vault, story boards of the history of the building and the restoration process, restrooms, and the museum’s gift shop.
