…and a woman’s dress, nightgown and nightcap. Ted Emmons wore the small child’s dress hanging on the wall. In the early 1930’s, Ted bought the bank building (now the Visitor’s Center) and it became his barber- shop. Some of his barber equip- ment is displayed on this dresser. In the late 1890’s, this hotel be-came the private home of Ted’s father, Dr. W. Emmons, who set up his medical practice in this building.
